Just a random stabbing in downtown Orlando . Things like this are becoming the norm . Where people can not go out and have drinks in peace . I guess this is the norm in most big cities or growing metros . I hate the fact that for disagreements people are quick to resort to violence .

The UCF basketball team had a rough game from the turnover and 3 pt % perspective . Iowa State is a very good defensive team but there is no excuse for UCF shooting 1/19 from 3 pt line and having home field advantage . This game was winnable if you even shoot 30% from the 3 it would have been a blowout . I will say that I think Iowa State is the 2nd best defensive team in the Big 12 after Houston .

Washington, DC

The median home price in DC is a mind boggling $ 535,000 . There is no way that the average Joe can buy a decent sized house there . I also seen that the average income in DC is $ 79,000 which means those people can get homes worth about $ 300,000 . It is getting harder and harder to achieve the American dream .

Tallahassee, FL

Bad start for the Noles losing 24 to 21 against the Georgia Tech yellow jackets . I think this FSU team will be in for a long season if they do not correct the defensive and offensive issues . For instance bad defensive line play, linebackers missing their gaps and offensive line getting pushed around .

Provo, UT

Duquesne upsets BYU in the march madness tournament . I’m a bit surprised at the outcome here . I expected BYU to win this game . I did not think that BYU would get to the sweet 16 or elite 8 but I did think that they would have made some noise in this tournament . Either BYU had an off night shooting or Duquesne played great defense maybe a combination of both .

Fort Lauderdale, FL

1 person killed and 3 others injured when a construction crane fell on a bridge . Prayers to the families involved . This is such a sad thing and puts things in perspective . Life is short and random .

Clemson, SC

Rough game for Clemson against UGA . This Clemson program is still a good program but not elite like they used to be . I’m not sure if it is them losing their long time coordinators, lack of transfer portal usage or a combination of those and other things .
